Wallets

Wallets make practical promotional gifts for companies and organisations because recipients can use them in everyday life. The active range also includes models labelled cotton and RPET. Beyond appearance, consider what recipients will carry, how often they will use the wallet and which size and format suit them.

When planning wallets with a logo, the material and available surface of each model also matter. Not every wallet is equally suitable for branding, so the method should be agreed upon with reference to the chosen product, artwork and quantity.

What to consider when choosing a wallet

A wallet may be intended for cards, banknotes, coins or small documents. As internal layouts vary, start by deciding what recipients will actually carry. The outside shape alone does not tell you how much space is available inside.

Contents, dimensions and layout

For payment cards, check the type and number of compartments where these details are specified. For cash, consider whether the selected model provides separate storage for notes and coins. If the wallet is intended for ID cards or unusually sized cards, compare their dimensions with those of the product before ordering. Do not assume every model has the same interior.

Closure and everyday handling

For frequent use, it is worth checking how the wallet opens and closes and how easy it is to access its contents. Some needs call for a compact format, while others favour several clearly arranged compartments. These are points to compare, not features that can be attributed to every wallet in the range without checking.

Wallet materials and branding options

The active selection includes the Fontix cotton wallet and two models labelled RPET: Nelsom and Kenxo. These labels indicate something about the stated material, but not every construction detail, compartment layout or closure. Check such details for each model individually.

What do cotton and RPET mean?

Cotton is a textile raw material, while RPET refers to material made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The RPET label alone does not establish a particular recycled-content percentage, certification or overall environmental impact. Also compare how the material feels, the intended use and the available information for each product.

Adding a logo to a wallet

Logo or text personalisation is possible on suitable products, depending on the material, surface, artwork size and quantity. The branding position and appropriate technique must be checked beforehand; the same solution will not automatically suit both cotton and RPET wallets. Gajcom can help review artwork and agree on placement, and a preview may be available for approval where needed.

Wallet or pouch?

If the main purpose is to hold small items rather than organise cards or cash, also compare the pouches. Internal organisation matters in a wallet; with a pouch, the intended contents, shape and ease of access may be more important. The two categories are not interchangeable in every situation, so choose according to actual use.

For a specific order, prepare the preferred model, approximate quantity, artwork and intended use. This makes it possible to check the suitability of personalisation and prepare a quotation without assuming all products offer the same options.

Frequently asked questions

Does every wallet have a coin compartment?

No such feature should be assumed from the category name alone. Check the selected model’s description, pictures and compartment layout, and ask for confirmation of coin storage suitability if necessary before ordering.

Does an RPET label mean the wallet is certified?

No. RPET identifies a type of material origin, but does not itself verify a certification or the exact proportion of recycled content. Rely on such information only when it is specifically stated for the product concerned.

Can I approve the logo layout before branding?

Where needed, a graphic preview or layout may be prepared for approval as part of personalisation. This is not an automatic step in every order; the process is agreed for each project.

How are delivery times and collection arranged?

The estimated lead time, delivery method and cost are confirmed for the specific order. Delivery or collection in person can be arranged, so the same timeframe should not be assumed for all models and quantities.
