Travel Bags and Trolleys

Travel bag or wheeled suitcase?

A soft travel bag can be easier to pack around clothing and accessories. One example is MOTION with a capacity of up to 32 litres, several internal pockets and an adjustable shoulder strap. For pulling luggage over level surfaces, consider wheeled models and check the wheel count and handle.

Examples also include the two-wheeled soft ARTIC bag and four-wheeled hard BUDAPEST suitcase. Their construction differs, so features should not be assumed to apply to every travel bag.

Size, organisation and materials

For shorter trips, focus on clothing space and keeping small items separate. When flying, check the external dimensions against the airline’s rules; the stated volume alone does not establish whether luggage is suitable for the cabin.

Frequently asked questions

Does a 32-litre capacity tell me how much I can pack?

It gives an approximate internal volume, not the usable shape of each compartment. Item dimensions, closures and the layout of the storage space also matter.

Is every wheeled suitcase suitable as cabin baggage?

No. Airlines set their own size and weight rules, and suitcases have different external dimensions. Check both before travelling.

What matters for a bag used frequently?

Pay attention to handles, shoulder straps, pocket access, closures and stability when set down. For wheeled models, also consider the surfaces over which you will pull them.
