Shoulder and Waist Bags

Shoulder and waist bags are a practical choice when you want small essentials close at hand while keeping your hands free. This category includes waist pouches and shoulder bags, alongside a sailor bag and dry bags. It therefore makes sense to start by deciding what users will carry and in which conditions.

For companies, clubs and organisations, capacity, carrying style and access to contents are key selection criteria. If you are planning branded bags, the suitability of the chosen model's surface for personalisation also needs to be checked.

Which carrying style should you choose?

Waist pouches for smaller items

If keys, cards or a phone need to stay within easy reach, a waist pouch is a sensible starting point. Photos alone do not show the usable space: compare dimensions, access to the main compartment and the type of closure. One example in the range is the MUZEUL waist pouch; check its own details, as these will not necessarily apply to other models.

Shoulder bags for a different way of organising belongings

A shoulder bag may also suit items of a different shape, but its actual capacity depends on the specific model. Check the strap length and fit, compartment layout and how easily items can be reached while carrying it. The range also includes the LAHORE shoulder bag.

The range additionally includes the Rover sailor bag and the Kinser and Tinsul dry bags. These are different types of products from small waist pouches, so appearance alone is not a useful basis for comparison. If you need a bag for use around water, examine the description of the particular product, such as the Kinser bag.

What should you check before ordering?

Size, contents and comfort

Make a list of the items users will actually carry. Allow for a phone case, the format of documents and the total volume of any additional equipment. Check that items will fit through the opening and inside the bag. For frequent use, ease of opening and weight distribution while carrying are just as relevant as dimensions.

Protecting contents and adding a logo

The word waterproof does not automatically mean that a bag can be submerged or exposed to water for prolonged periods. Check the selected product's information on closures, seams and level of protection, where provided. For logo personalisation, the material, available surface, artwork and quantity must be assessed; Gajcom can help agree on the position, size and suitable method.

For other carrying options, you can also explore promotional bags. When making an enquiry, specify the model, expected quantity and intended use; the details are confirmed for each order.

Frequently asked questions

How can I check whether a phone with its case will fit?

Compare the phone's measurements including its case with the usable dimensions of the chosen model. Consider the compartment shape and opening size, not just the bag's outside width. If the relevant measurements are not listed, check them before ordering.

What do 300D and 600D mean?

The letter D stands for denier, a measure of the yarn's linear mass. It does not tell you how the fabric is finished, how the seams are constructed or how water-resistant it is. A higher number alone is therefore not enough to show that the finished bag suits a particular use better.

Can a dry bag protect sensitive electronics?

The product name alone is not sufficient evidence. Before using a bag near water, check the stated protection of the whole bag, especially its closure and seams. Do not assume it will protect devices during submersion without suitable confirmation; use additional protection for sensitive equipment where necessary.

What information should I send to have bags branded with a logo?

It helps to provide the chosen model, approximate quantity, artwork and preferred branding position. The appropriate method is assessed against the material, artwork size and available surface. Where needed, a visual proof may also form part of the personalisation process for approval.
