Laptop and Tablet Backpacks

Laptop and tablet backpacks make it easier to carry work equipment between the office, meetings and trips. The first thing to check is whether the device compartment is the right size: a screen-size label alone does not guarantee a proper fit. Also consider space for a charger, documents and small accessories, as well as how the bag is carried.

The current selection includes conventional backpacks for different laptop sizes and wheeled versions. For business teams, the choice should reflect the devices employees actually use, how often they travel and whether the chosen model is suitable for logo branding.

Laptop fit and internal organisation

Check the laptop's actual dimensions

A 14, 15.6 or 17-inch designation describes the screen diagonal, not necessarily the usable width and depth of the compartment. Before ordering, compare the laptop's external dimensions with the internal measurements of the intended space, including thickness. The range includes models described for these laptop sizes, but that does not mean every device with the same screen diagonal will fit.

What else will you carry?

If the user carries a power adapter, mouse, documents or tablet, check the layout and accessibility of the compartments. A separate device section can be useful, but its padding and closure need to be checked for the individual product. Weight distribution, access to equipment and the backpack's external dimensions also matter.

A conventional backpack or a wheeled version?

For everyday journeys

A conventional backpack suits frequent journeys between public transport, the office and meetings. Look at the shoulder straps, back panel and access to the laptop; these features vary by product. If a dedicated laptop space is not essential, compare the promotional backpacks as well.

For longer journeys and extra luggage

A wheeled backpack is an alternative when carrying more equipment across suitable level surfaces. Examples include EINDHOVEN for a 15.6-inch laptop and AVENIR for a 17-inch laptop. Before choosing, check the overall weight, handle, external dimensions and carrying options where the wheels cannot be used.

Device protection and business branding

A backpack is not automatically equivalent to a protective sleeve: the degree of protection depends on the design and fit of the particular model. For business orders, suitable products can be branded with a logo or artwork. The technique and position depend on the material, surface, design and quantity; the exact execution is confirmed for the chosen model.

Frequently asked questions

Can I carry a laptop and a tablet in the same backpack?

Yes, provided the chosen model has enough appropriately arranged space. Check whether the devices can be kept apart from hard objects and other accessories. Not every backpack has a dedicated tablet compartment.

How do I choose a model for a team using different laptops?

Collect the external dimensions of the devices, not just their screen diagonals. Then check whether one model fits everyone or whether ordering several suitable sizes makes more sense.

Is a wheeled backpack suitable as airline cabin baggage?

The laptop size printed on the label does not determine this. Check the backpack's external dimensions, including wheels and handles, against the current restrictions of the airline you will use.

What information is needed for a branded order?

Useful details include the chosen model, estimated quantity, artwork and preferred branding position. Gajcom can help check the artwork and, where appropriate, provide a visual proof; the details are agreed in the quotation or order confirmation.
