Cups and mugs are useful for office equipment, business gifts and events where coffee or tea is served. The active range includes classic ceramic mugs, double-walled glass designs and metal cups. Material, shape and intended use matter more than appearance alone: a mug for a desk is not necessarily the most practical choice for travelling.
Compare capacity, handle or grip design, and care requirements before choosing. If you plan to add a logo, consider the shape and available surface of the specific product, as not every item is suitable for the same personalisation method.

Which type of cup suits the intended use?
Ceramic mugs for the desk
A ceramic mug is a sensible choice for coffee or tea in an office, meeting room or shared space. One example is the KC7062 classic ceramic mug, with a stated capacity of 300 ml. Also compare handle shape, rim width and base stability. The same capacity does not necessarily mean the same feel in use or the same space for a logo.
Double walls, glass and metal
The CX1523 is described as a double-walled borosilicate glass mug. This construction differs from a conventional single-wall cup, but it does not by itself establish a particular heat-retention time. The MO2090 is a metal travel mug. If you intend to carry it around, check separately whether it has a lid, how it closes and whether it suits your intended use. The label “travel” does not automatically mean leakproof.
What to check when ordering and personalising
Capacity, comfort and care
Capacity helps indicate serving size, but weight, balance and a comfortable grip also matter in daily use. For shared use at work, check cleaning instructions and whether the specific product is rated for a dishwasher or microwave. You cannot reliably infer this from the material alone, especially when a product has a coating, additional parts or decoration.
Matching the logo to the product
For branding, start by defining the required artwork size and position. Sublimation printing may be available on suitable substrates; direct UV printing or laser marking may also be options on appropriate surfaces. None of these methods is automatically suitable for every mug. Gajcom selects the approach according to the material, shape, artwork, quantity and desired finish.

Frequently asked questions
Is every mug dishwasher-safe?
Do not assume so. Check the care instructions for the individual model, as coatings, accessories and the chosen personalisation can affect cleaning requirements.
Does a double wall guarantee that drinks stay hot for a long time?
No. A double wall describes the construction; actual heat retention also depends on other product features and conditions of use. If this is a key requirement, check the specifications of the particular model.
What should I send to check logo printing options?
Provide the model reference, expected quantity, artwork file and preferred branding position. Gajcom can help check the artwork and agree on a suitable size, placement and method.
How do I choose a mug to carry with me?
Check for a lid, the type of closure, grip and guidance for the intended drink. In particular, do not mistake a travel-oriented name for verified leak resistance or thermal insulation.
