Tabard

Tabards are overgarments that can be compared by their length and pocket placement. This category contains two designs made from polyester-cotton blends, but they differ in cut, front detailing and overall length.

For salon and similar workplace clothing, decide how much coverage you need, how the side fit adjusts and where a pocket should sit. A tabard name alone does not establish any particular protective performance.

Two tabards, two lengths

The Premier PR171 is a traditional over-the-head tabard with side straps secured by press studs and a central pocket. It is 68 cm long, with 195 g/m² fabric composed of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This is the shorter of the two listed designs.

The PW172 is a longer women's tabard, measuring 78 cm. It has a large applied front pocket and adjustable side tabs with press-stud fastenings. Its stated composition is also 65% polyester and 35% cotton, although the overall shape and length differ.

Choosing a workplace tabard

A ten-centimetre difference in length may matter for the amount of clothing covered. Compare the pocket position, adjustment at the sides and whether you prefer the traditional over-the-head shape or the longer women's design.

Both models list washing at up to 60°C; Premier PR171 also specifies industrial washing. When selecting for a group, compare the cuts that suit the intended wearers. Other formats can be found under aprons.
